The acquisition and analysis of bio signal is one of the focuses in biomedical engineering research. Electrocardiogram (ECG) is one of the most popular bio signal used by the physician to analyze the information about the human body. In this paper portable device has been developed and implemented to analyze the ECG using LABVIEW, also the developed device used to measure human body temperature, blood pressure, glucose level and heart beat. The measured information can be sent to the physician through SMS by GSM, which will assist the physician to diagnose abnormalities of the human body.

This paper presents the implementation of wireless sensor network for smart home control system. In this paper a portable device is developed to monitor, control the parameters and to provide user display. The objective is to reduce the unnecessary energy consumption of a smart home. The developed system aids to improve the performance of control network. Visual basic software is used to monitor and control the various parameters such as voltage, current, temperature etc…The smart home system composed of controller, system server ,switches, wireless transceiver, sensors and other major parts. The proposed system also comprises the real time temperature control using a PID controller, which is implemented on a microcontroller. In this proposed system the input is fed as BCD code into the DALI for monitoring and controlling the device performance.
